Hello friends! I am excited to share my new blog with you as I study to become a teacher! I am currently a student in Educational Technology 486 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and studying elementary education. Although I am studying in Knoxville, I am from Chattanooga, Tennessee, and I am looking forward to moving back to teach once I finish. In the meantime, I am enjoying my years at UT and am very engaged in my sorority, Pi Beta Phi. Go Vols!!This blog will follow my experiences in this class and the excitement that builds as I become closer and closer to teaching. I hope that I will learn new ways to incorporate technology into my lessons and use ample online resources to help struggling students. I am an Apple user, but am extremely familiar with both Mac and PCs. Technology is such an important part of our everyday lives and it is imperative that students learn how to use it in all forms.
